Oklahoma Public Records
When you need to obtain certain documents and information in the State of Oklahoma, it is extremely helpful to have a comprehensive list of the various sites that you will need to access. Some of the more useful links to obtain the information that you are looking for.
Birth and Death Records
If you want to obtain a birth certificate, you can navigate to the Oklahoma State Department of Health website and download the required form.
Access to these records is restricted to a select group of people including parents of the named person on the birth record, the person themselves or someone who has been granted access to the information with a court order or power of attorney.

If you order your certificate by mail, it can take up to four weeks. If you order it online, you can track your order.

Marriage Certificates/Divorce Decrees/Property Records
You can obtain information on each of these topics by going to the website of the county where the event occurred. This site has a map of the counties that you click on to be taken to the website of the individual county.
Driving Record Information
If you would like to obtain a copy of your driving record you will need to navigate to the State of Oklahoma Department of Public Safety website and order a copy of your record. All you need to do is fill out the required form and mail it to:

Together with the required fee which varies, depending on which record you are requesting. You can also attend in person between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to obtain your record.
Court Records
The Oklahoma Courts State Network website provides many different court records for all levels of court. The contact information for each court is provided, so you can get further information on how to obtain what it is that you are looking for once you access the site. Each level of court has a different location.
Sex Offender Registry
If you live in the State of Oklahoma, you may want more information about any sex offenders that live near you. You can access the sex offender and violent offender registry online. You will need to agree to the terms set out on the first page of the sex offender registry before you can access the records. The location of the offenders is indicated via Google maps so that you can easily see where the offender resides and how close that is to your own home.
